Classed as a module of the Corporate Modeler Suite, the Casewise Corporate Collector therefore enables the user to load or unload data, from third party tools, on schedule or on demand, with or without user interaction, in a safe and secure manner. The Corporate Collector offers a number of standard probes ready-for-use that cover a wide number of integration needs. This enables the application of a standard approach to integration requirements, instead of spending time and money on custom developments.

The Corporate Collector has been developed following feedback from customers who expressed the need of an ETL solution enabling them to extract and transform raw data from third party tools in order to update the Casewise Corporate Exchange (Central Repository). In addition, the Corporate Collector also works in reverse manner, enabling users to extract data from the Casewise Central Repository in order to allow the updating of third party tools.

To ensure a safe update of the Casewise Central Repository, all updating activities are performed governing Casewise standard modules via batch, and are preceded by data mapping, consistency checks and model backup. A user operation log, scheduled operation log and system log are also provided, they generate an e-mail notification for any severe error.

Corporate Collector is also able to store all the necessary settings to run automatically. Environment parameters, access control and profiling, job scheduling and rules for file handling are stored in a local database although the model administrator may interact with the tool during the updating activities, checking data previews and, if necessary, discard any updates.

Corporate Collector is the result of an agreement between A&P Consulting and Casewise, that decided to complete its Corporate Modeler Suite through an OEM. This allows Casewise to distribute world-wide a product already known on the italian market as ModLive, developed by A&P Consulting and protected by copyright. To celebrate this event, A&P Consulting has reviewed the product architecture and enriched the functionalities. Until the end of 2011, a special policy is resevered for all the customers that has already bought a ModLive licence.
